The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas. This role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring spaces are presentable and safe. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.

 

 

•Clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and restrooms.

•Dust, vacuum, mop, and empty trash as needed.

•Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

•Perform deep-cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and scrubbing floors as scheduled.

•Handle spills or specific cleaning needs promptly.

•Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.

•Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.

•Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

•Use appropriate protective gear when required.

•Respond to urgent cleaning requests as needed.

•Assist with setup or teardown for events if required.

 

 

•Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

•Experience: Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

 

 

•Attention to detail and thoroughness.

•Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

•Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.

 

Work Environment: Physically demanding, with frequent bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning chemicals. May require evening or weekend work based on the facility’s needs.
